We Weren't Ready for Gus Kenworthy & Adam Rippon's GLAAD Awards Kiss

Our favorite queer Olympians, Gus Kenworthy and Adam Rippon, spontaneously shared a kiss on stage at last night’s GLAAD Media Awards.

While delivering a joint speech, the LGBT athletes gifted the internet with the image of the two locking lips—eliciting a hilarious reaction from Rippon, as well as the rest of the crowd in attendance.

The two athletes have become close friends in and out of the spotlight, making this adorable stunt all the more enjoyable.

Kenworthy made headlines earlier this year during the Winter Olympics after kissing his boyfriend Matt Wilkas on camera, giving a much-needed dose of progressive (and gay) representation during the pinnacle of sporting events. Meanwhile, Rippon has also been slaying news cycles since before the Winter Olympic games, most notably for his feud with Vice President Mike Pence.
