Breathe easy, Spidey stans. Our favorite neighborhood web-slinger is back in the MCU.

After weeks of not knowing what the hell was going on, it looks like our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will, in fact, stay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to a report by Variety, both Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have reconciled any differences they might have had in recent weeks and announced that Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige are back on board to help produce the third film in the current series.

Spider-Man's stars Tom Holland and Zendaya immediately took to social media to voice their excitement.

Back in August, the two major film studios couldn't reach a deal about co-financing future Spider-Man projects, effectively leaving the fate of the popular superhero—and his participation in the popular MCU films—unknown. As expected, backlash from diehard fans was swift, with some even starting a petition to #SaveSpidey

But now, Spidey fans can breathe a huge, huge sigh of relief!
