The weather is getting warmer, the shorts are getting shorter and the tanks are getting sluttier. You know what that means: SUMMER IS COMING!

It’s almost like a sixth sense for gay men. Somehow, they can always accurately predict when the hot months are on the horizon. Here are 14 sure-fire signs a gay man knows summer is coming.

1. For starters, the gym is a crowded zoo.

2. Because the talk of pool parties has everyone panicked.

3. Your Grindr feed is filled with travelers.

4. And your hook-ups are probably taking place at more hotels than homes. 

5. Festival season is already in full force.

6. The newest season of Big Brother is so close you can taste it.

7. AND SO ARE THE SUMMER OLYMPICS.

8. You can finally re-integrate tank tops into your evening wear.

9. You’re trying to figure out how to afford a summer vacay when you can’t even afford a new speedo.

10. Pride is on the horizon and/or Pride has already happened (Phoenix and Miami, I’m talking to you).

11. Shirtless joggers are causing you to temporarily lose focus on the road.

12. ALL the queens of pop are all dropping tracks and the ‘song-of-the-summer’ race is ON!

13. Sunday funday has now been incorporated into your weekend routine.

14. And the smell of spray tan is hindering your social life.
