YouTuber Ingrid Nilsen, who kickstarted her online career as a beauty vlogger back in 2009, has just come out in a beautiful video. Known as MissGlamorazzi when she started online, Ingrid has amassed millions followers during her subsequent years on YouTube.

"There's something I want you to know and that something is I'm gay," Ingrid begins by saying in her latest video, before choking up. "It feels so good to say that.

The young YouTuber goes on to explain that she’s always known she was gay but that she decided to start living a life she didn’t want to live.

“…I grew up in an environment where homosexuality was not universally accepted. It was accepted by some but definitely not the majority, and that was difficult,” Ingrid says. “This is not something that I chose. It is something that is a part of me and has always been a part of me.”

She further explains that she suppressed her feelings for women and started dating guys. She is sure to explain that she respects all of the guys she dated.

The thoughtful, moving video is 20 minutes long, and worth every minute of watching.

Congrats to Ingrid for living her truth.
