'30 Rock' Gets All The Girls including Patti Lupone and Meryl Streep

Broadway legend Patti Lupone will be guest starring on the NBC comedy 30 Rock, playing the mother of eccentric writer Frank (played by Judah Friedlander), EW.com recently revealed.  The diva recently guested on Ugly Betty playing Michael Urie's Marc's mom.

Lupone recently pulled a literal showstopper bringing a farewell performance of Gypsy to a halt after an audience member had the audacity to photograph her during the show.  She shrieked, "Who do you think you are! How dare you..." and had him promptly removed; but continued to berate the disrespectful patron.  The remainder of the audience applauded her and she thanked them for their respect for the Theater Company before continuing.

Another stalwart actress is rumored to be headed to Tina Fey's address at 30 Rock, According to 'insiders' and NY Daily News. Alec Baldwin propositioned Meryl Streep to guest spot on the show in the celebratory aftermath of grabbing her SAG Award for Best Actress Doubt.  Streep was apparently, "delighted with the idea of appearing on the show," and, "said yes immediately."
