On Thursday, when most Americans were stuffing themselves with turkey and pumpkin pie, Vice President-elect JD Vance was being a huge weirdo, like normal. Only this time, instead of ordering donuts in the cringiest way possible, he was posting a poorly photoshopped image that portrayed him as Donald Trump’s wife. No, we’re not joking.
Vance took to X (formerly Twitter) to post Norman Rockwell's famous 1940s Freedom From Want painting of a family gathered around a Thanksgiving table, but he photoshopped Trump’s head in place of the husband’s and put his own head on the wife’s body.
So we have photographic proof of Vance once dressing in drag, accidentally misgendering himself during a speech, and now he’s happily portraying himself as Trump’s dutiful housewife? Somehow Vance doesn’t see how hypocritical it is to be vocally anti-trans and anti-drag queen when he’s willingly put himself into a dress.
Luckily, the internet was happy to point it out for him. From quipping that this is Vance’s way of letting the world know he’s a bottom to someone writing that it’s “good to see you progressing” with your transition to another person posing that this “explains why Melania isn’t moving into the White House,” the jokes are writing themselves.
