Despite the outrageous public and private violations and crimes committed against black bodies by police officers and the “justice” system, people still don’t seem to understand the necessity and importance of #BlackLivesMatter. These people are the kind of people who prejudge an ENTIRE movement based on racist representation, stereotyping, and fear mongering, dare to accuse #BlackLivesMatter of judging ALL cops. #AllLivesMatter folks defy logic and morality, as we as a world and nation have yet to see any sort of organization that values all lives. Are they feeding people? Fighting sex trafficking. Standing up for Syrian refugees? NO.
Ultimately, #AllLivesMatter exists solely to put #BlackLivesMatter down, but people are too blinded by their ego, fear, and discomfort that they choose to believe what society tells them.
Just because they’re up in clouds, doesn’t mean we all are, though. There has been truth, upon truth, upon truth, laid down since the movement began building a foundation to racial equity. The movement is stronger than ever, and undoubtedly is not going anywhere. All it takes is a quick peek, a short read, or minimal listening with an open mind to see just how real the corruption of this nation is. Take a look at the 19 tweets below that nail what’s been going on, and you’ll get why more and more people need to say #BlackLivesMatter.
