'The L Word's' Kate French Gets Trippy with Girls and Boys in 'Liquorice'

'The L Word's' Kate French Gets Trippy with Girls and Boys in 'Liquorice'

Famous in lesbian circles for playing the character who partnered with Jenny Schecter in all things oil wrestling and strap-on related on The L Word’s fifth season, Kate French is appearing in the film Liquorice, a movie for which there is a teaser trailer but no IMDB listing. The film by filmmaker, writer, photographer and activist Natalie Bible is billed as a psychological thriller that follows Jade (French) as she sheds her inhibitions and explores her “deepest and darkest desires,” all while celebrating the centuries old elixir Absinthe.

Famous in lesbian circles for playing the character who partnered with Jenny Schecter in all things oil wrestling and strap-on related on The L Word’s fifth season, Kate French (One Tree Hill, Girltrash: All Night Long) is appearing in the film Liquorice.

The film, by filmmaker, writer, photographer and activist Natalie Bible, is billed as a psychological thriller that follows Jade (French) as she sheds her inhibitions and explores her “deepest and darkest desires,” all while celebrating mysteries of the centuries-old elixir Absinthe.

The nearly 3.5 minute trailer runs the gamut of trippy  and / or sexy imagery including Requiem for a Dream-like sequences,  plenty of girl / girl and girl / boy make out scenes, religious iconography and Absinthe as both a bubble bath and a fragrance.

Check out Liquorice.
