Gay Grey’s fans might not love the baby triangle Calzona is stuck in lately, but we can all look forward to the upcoming musical event which will heavily feature star Sara Ramirez’s Tony-award-wining talents.

TV Guide reports the special hour, airing March 31, will have the cast singing songs made famous by the series and the bulk of the singing will fall to the robustly gifted Ramirez.

"It's an amazing opportunity," the seasoned performer shared. "Singing runs in my family; it's something I embrace about myself. I've been nothing but thrilled and excited to come to work and play a character that I love and portray a journey that I'm just really excited to portray."

TVGuide.com also posted song selections for the characters that will have hardcore Grey fans humming familiar tunes:

  • Lexie, portrayed by Chyler Leigh, will be singing “Breathe (2 AM),” originally sung by Anna Nalick from episode 217 “(As We Know It).”
  • “Chasing Cars,” originally by Snow Patrol from the second season finale “Losing My Religion,” will be sung by Kevin McKidd, Sara Ramirez, and Chandra Wilson.
  • “Grace,” originally by Kate Havnevik and also from the second season finale, will be sung by Sara Ramirez and the rest of the female cast.
  • “How We Operate,” from the second season finale by Gomez, will be sung by Kevin McKidd.
  • “Cosy in the Rocket,” the series’ original theme song, will also be used in the episode, albeit how is not yet known.
  • “How to Save a Life,” originally by The Fray and used not only in a season two episode, but the show’s advertisements, will also be in the episode.
  • “Running on Sunshine,” originally used in season three’s “I Am a Tree,” will be in the musical episode. It looks like most of the cast will be involved on that number.
  • Director Tony Phelan confirms that Brandi Carlile’s “The Story” will be in the episode.

For those who aren't aware of Ramirez's big pipes here she is singing 'Find Your Grail' from Spamalot. She won her Tony for her role as The Lady of the Lake. She comes in at about 1:10.
