Dating for gay/bi men isn’t always the easiest, but now you can feel like you’re doing the Lord’s work while searching for Mr. Right on the toilet.
The gay dating app Chappy just announced their partnership with GLAAD, the world’s leading LGBTQ media advocacy group, to launch their new initiative "Chats for Charity." Every single time a chat session is initiated on the app, Chappy will donate to GLAAD. As stated in a press release, they plan to donate "tens of thousands of dollars."
So now, you have no excuse not to start a convo with, "How’s it cookin’ good lookin?" (I mean definitely don’t say that, but you know, something less corny.)
"This philanthropic endeavor aims to mobilize the community around a common interest to support global gay voices and influence gay culture to be tolerant, respectful, inclusive and non-discriminatory. Chappy will also partner with GLAAD on a national and local level to sponsor events and community outreach initiatives throughout 2019,” Chappy announced.
"Every time Chappy users chat and connect with each other, they will be supporting GLAAD’s culture changing LGBTQ work," said Zeke Stokes, Vice President of Programs at GLAAD. "Chappy is making a powerful commitment to LGBTQ acceptance and we are proud to partner with them on this initiative as well as their broader work to build community."
