bubly's #dragforallflavors campaign is helping support and amplify New York City-based drag queens and kings whose performances have been put on pause since March because of the current, ongoing global health crisis.

Over the next week, we'll be interviewing some queens and kings who will help us meet all the flavors of the holiday season, as told through drag! And next up is Maxxx Pleasure!

In a year unlike any other - how have you remained Proud and celebrated Pride all year long?

The limitations of 2020 have inspired me to change the way that I celebrate Pride moving forward! Pride isn't just one month of drag shows and a parade - it's a time to show love for our community with action, like supporting queer creators, donating time and/or money to causes that help community members in need, engaging with our politicians, educating others... and attending a few drag shows with our friends and chosen family of course! And that time can (and should!) be spread out over the whole year! It's easy to stay Proud when celebrating Pride that way.

What do you hope your fans will feel this holiday season when they see their favorite local Drag queens and kings recognized and supported by bubly in the #dragforallflavors campaign?

The holiday season is a difficult time for me and many others! I love my family, but it sucks that I can't always share my full self with them. And I love the spirit of the holidays, but LGBTQ+ people often lack visibility and consideration during this time. I hope that the #dragforallflavors campaign helps people feel seen and that we are part of the celebrations!

As you know, bubly partnered with SAGE to deliver a little extra holiday spirit to our LGBTQ+ elders. How important is it to you that we continue to strengthen connections with organizations like SAGE?

It is so important that we continue to strengthen connections with organizations like SAGE - they provide vital resources for LGBTQ+ elders, and our elders are our direct line to our community's history!

What bubly flavor(s) will we see in your Christmas stocking?

I have a strong feeling that my stocking will be stuffed with Lime bubly this year... keeping my fingers crossed for some Mango bubly too!
