Following the California supreme court's decision to uphold Prop. 8, the anti-gay marriage ballot that banned same-sex marriage in the state, thousands of gay people and their straight allies stormed the streets of Los Angeles -- peacefully of course. Among those at the rally, which began at San Vicente and Santa Monica Boulevards in West Hollywood, were gay luminaries and celebrities alike. SheWired was on hand to catch Kathy Griffin and her mom Maggie, Perez Hilton, Sophia Bush, Drew Barrymore, Cathy DeBuono, Jill Bennett, marriage activist Robin Tyler and "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" activist Lt. Dan Choi. The march continued on to famed Hollywood and Highland and then down the Sunset Strip.
