Elton John was hospitalized briefly over the weekend in Nice, France after slipping and falling in his villa.

According to Page Six, the iconic singer was transported to Princess Grace Hospital’s orthopedic center in Monaco, where he was treated as a precaution.

“We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the South of France, Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure,” a rep confirmed to the publication. “Following checkups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”

Following his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, John has been relaxing on the French Riviera and enjoying a well-deserved break with his husband, David Furnish.

This fall follows a series of health scares for the “I’m Still Standing” singer, who suffered a previous fall that required surgery and postponed his tour in 2021. In recent years, he also battled prostate cancer, a life-threatening infection that he contracted in South America, and COVID.

The singer bounced back from them all, so we’re sending him all the healthy healing thoughts following this latest scare.
