Some familiar McDonald’s faces are coming out loud and proud in a strange sketch from the Saturday Night Live season premiere.

The skit revolves around the McDonald’s lineup of mascots getting together to film a commercial for the fast food restaurant. After waiting on Grimace, the purple blob creature, to get started, he shows up as an ultra-ripped version of himself — played by host Miles Teller.

“I lost 300 pounds and got totally yoked up,” he says, as the others look on in surprise.

The mascots pull it together and start to record the commercial, only to have Grimace hijack things by announcing he’s bisexual.

“This summer I realized that. I was getting off a plane and when I said ‘bye’ to the flight attendants, one of them shook my hand and kissed it. And I realized, eh, I like both,” he explains. “And I’d like to say that I’m bi in the commercial. It’s really important to me and I don’t even really eat McDonald’s anymore.”

Believe it or not, things actually escalate from there, with the other mascots having their own secrets to reveal.

There didn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason to the sketch, but it was the randomness of it all that wound up resonating with viewers, one of whom referred to this take on Grimace as “not the bisexual rep we want but the rep we deserve.”

Because why not, right??
