Season two of Wednesday is officially happening!

On Friday, January 6, Netflix announced that it is picking up Wednesday for a second season. The announcement came in the form of a video highlighting the viral sensation that Wednesday has become around the world.

Besides including Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” as a soundtrack to the season two announcement, Netflix also included videos of people dressing up as Wednesday and recreating her iconic dance sequence – which was a huge trend on TikTok.

The season two announcement video ends with Wednesday declaring, “Honestly, I wish I cared a little more.”

Season two was just announced by Netflix, so there are no further details about the second season at this time. With that said, most of the cast is surely expected to come back after the record-breaking success that the first season turned out to be.

With viral shows like Stranger Things coming to an end soon on Netflix, the streaming service is clearly looking at Wednesday to excite its subscribers and bring in new ones.

We’re already highly anxious and excited for Wednesday season two!

All episodes of Wednesday season one are streaming on Netflix.
