Mariah's Festive Insta Post Proves It's Basically Christmas Already

Sorry, we don't make the rules.

Okay, okay, we get it. We still have, like, three months left before the holiday season actually falls upon us, but considering all of the bad and disconcerting news that's been happening lately (like Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination advancing, despite heartbreaking testimony from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a woman he allegedly tried to rape at a party when they were teenagers), we need something uplifting and light-hearted to take our mind off of things.

Like a festive Instagram post from the Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey

Donning a fabulous red gown and sitting in a room decked to the gawds with holiday decor, the "GTFO" singer took to Insta this morning to let everyone know that tickets for her European Christmas concerts are officially on sale.

The political world may be on fire, but at least spreading some holiday cheer with Mimi can take our mind of off things for a little bit...
