Pop sensation Britney Spears' saucy new single from Circus, "If You Seek Amy"--complete with a choice bisexual lyric -- was on the verge of being banned by U.S. radio stations for its lewd title.
Rather than risk being banned, Spears, who's enjoying a comeback to top pop star after several years of a personal spiral, has headed back into the studio to re-record the song with a less provocative title, according to the Sun.
Now the song's lyrics like the naughty, non-discriminating "All the boys and girls are begging to If You Seek Amy," will be toned down by the new, less offensive and somewhat nonsensical title "If You See Amy."
The move to tone down the song has reportedly placated parents whose children listen to Spears and also radio stations fearful of being slapped with fines, according to the Sun.
