International superstar and LGBT ally, Jennifer Lopez, gushed over her sister's nonbinary child yesterday for representing their school at the Global Young Leaders Conference on Instagram, and she used they/them pronouns to do it!

"This is Brendan my sister Leslie's second child!!" Lopez wrote on Instagram. "They were the one person selected to represent their school at #globalyoungleadersconference in Washington DC!!! And I couldn't be more proud!!! Brendan is strong and smart and loving and a obviously a leader!! Titi Jenn loves you!! #superproudauntie #familia <3"

What was supposed to be a heartwarming post quickly turned ugly when some users, including the human manifestation of an eye-roll Milo Yiannopoulos, had to jump in with their unwarranted two cents.

Thankfully, the good outweighed the bad, and the post received overwhelming support from fans. It even elicited a response from Sense8's Jamie Clayton

Thank you, JLo, for your allyship! And congrats, Brendan, on your accomplishments!
