Lesbian Themed Play 'Last Summer at Bluefish Cove' Gets Extended Hollywood Run

The Los Angeles Women’s Theater Project’s production of dramedy Last Summer at Bluefish Cove will move to the Lounge Theater and has been extended from November 11, 2011 to December 18, 2011. Written by Jane Chambers and directed by Dee Jae Cox, the production is the story of a dissatisfied straight woman who leaves her husband to spend quiet time by herself. She unwittingly and naively makes her way into the company of seven lesbians just starting their beachside vacation.

Written by Jane Chambers and directed by Dee Jae Cox, the production is the story of a dissatisfied straight woman who leaves her husband to spend quiet time by herself. She unwittingly and naively makes her way into the company of seven lesbians just starting their beachside vacation. She falls in love with one woman who, unknown to her, is dying of cancer.

Katelyn Ann Clark, Jen Kuhn, Laura Manchester, Sheena Metal, Georgia Reed, Alicia Tycer, Kimberly Turner and Lucki Wheating star in the project produced by Daryl Victor.

Tickets are available from The Los Angeles Women’s Theater Project for $20 each. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm from November 11, 2011 to December 18, 2011, except Thanksgiving weekend.
