Help Out Actress Michelle C. Bonilla's Launch New Web Series 'Failing Upwards'

A seasoned actress with an impressive résumé Michelle C. Bonilla’s IMDB page appears endless at first glance. Throughout her career, which includes a 12-year recurring role as an adorable paramedic on ER and putting the hot into the Klingon Bu’Kah on Enterprise to more recent stints on Saving Grace and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, Bonilla has been unabashedly, openly gay. Now, the hard-working thespian and writer, producer and star of the short film Slip Away, which became a film fest darling last year, has four days left to fundraise for her latest project, the web series Failing Upwards.

Film fest fans will also recall that Bonilla played Elizabeth Keener's love interest in the hilarious short Getting to Know You.

Failing Upwards, “follows a group of four unlikely friends who find themselves going through unemployment, TOGETHER!  Each of our characters, inept, in their own special way, end up surprising themselves, each other, and the audience with their ability to get the job done…WHATEVER it may be!” according to the Failing Upwards site.

The series wad created by Michelle C. Bonilla (Producer, Writer and Star of the Award-Winning Slip Away, The Closer, 12 seasons on ER as EMT Harms) and Matt Crabtree (Bones, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, Greek, Will & Grace) and written with Deidra Edwards (Star of the Award Winning film Disfigured) and Pip Lilly (Butch Camp, Frank TV, National Lampoon's Lemmings), Failing Upwards is a new, comedy web series, about unemployment and the hilarity of trying to find a job - Even if you have to lie to get one.
