Queer Comedians Took Over US Theaters In OUT on Stage
We need more queer humor in our lives!
In partnership with Fathom Events, gay comedians took over movie theaters nationwide yesterday to debut the documentary-style film OUT on Stage.
The flick follows host and LA-based comedian Zach Noe Towers alongside sixteen other top-rated gay and lesbian comics as they each perform some of their most popular (and/or controversial) acts on stage.
Showcasing the diverse talents of the stand-up comedy world (particularly that of Los Angeles), OUT on Stage gives an ample platform for these rising stars to truly shine in the eyes of a larger public than that of your local comedy club.
Between the trials of inducting a "third" into your relationship, as told by Chris Bryant...
...to the complications of friendships between gay men and straight women, as told by Kyle Shire...
...there were more than enough hilarious stories for LGBTQ+ (and straight) audiences to relate to!
OUT on Stage's cast of performers included Jonathan Rowell, A.B. Cassidy, Casey Ley, Julian Michael, Chris Bryant, Eric Hahn, Janine Brito, Jared Goldstein, Kyle Shire, Jordan Pease, Irene Tu, Raineir Pollard, Daniel Webb, Anthony Desamto, Gloria Bigelow, and Joe Dosch.
