Lawyers for Molly Wei, one of the two people accused of invading the privacy of 18-year-old Tyler Clementi, told reporters their client was a "wonderful, caring, and talented young woman with a bright future," WNYW News reports.

Wei, 18, allegedly joined Dharun Ravi in secretly live streaming video of Clementi having sex. Clementi, also a freshman at Rutgers University in New Jersey, then committed suicide by leaping off the George Washington Bridge.

It is not clear whether Ravi and Wei will be charged with a bias crime. They currently face privacy invasion charges. If found guilty of the privacy charge, the additional bias crime charge could double their sentence maximum sentence to as long as 10 years.
