Ever since the internet discovered Mean Girls star Rajiv Surendra was hot (and gay), people around the world have grown infatuated with him — and for good reason!

The former actor and current craft connoisseur uses his Instagram to walk fans through various activities like cooking chicken curry and buying a spinning wheel and making pottery.

But in his latest Instagram post, Surendra posted a full shot of his bum – in the name of art.

"There is a giant gold David outside our window here at @21clouisville and we have really loved looking out at all hours of the day and seeing him," he captioned on the post. "Naturally, I wanted to try to pose like him, à la mode. @laurajeanfetterleyart called out all the subtle direction; 'right shoulder down' 'okay, now, left elbow away from your body more' 'head down' 'your butt needs to be twisted to my right a LOT more'. I learned that David’s stance is deceivingly unnatural and uncomfortable, like most of the contorted figures from the Renaissance."

"I stayed at that same hotel for my birthday a few months back. I saw that statue and was just amazed by it but you are a true work of art," said one. Another commented, "I am a man of culture consuming art respectfully."

We love art!

It's cool to see Surendra living his best life since coming out publicly as gay in 2018, though he'd known about his sexuality during the time of filming the now iconic movie. "I know full well that if I was an openly gay actor, there was no way I’d be considered for the role of a sixteen-year-old religious Indian kid in a movie that Fox was putting $100 million into."

Will he get back into acting anytime soon? Only time will tell...

How does Rajiv Surendra make his money?

All these years after Mean Girls, we'd assume the cast is still getting residuals in some way. But Surendra is currently the founder of Letters in Ink, a bespoke calligraphy and graphic design service based in Manhattan.

When was Rajiv Surendra born?

He was born in 1989, though the exact date is unknown.
