The trailer for the upcoming Peacock seriesTheTraitors is here and it’s so awesomely camp we can’t wait.

Based on the popular Dutch series of the same name, the show follows a group of celebs and regular people who embark on a game of treachery, lies, deceit, and terrifying challenges all in an effort to snatch a cash prize.

In the game, a portion of the contestants have secretly been enlisted into a cabal of traitors, who every night “kill” off one of the faithful. If the faithful are able to root them out, they walk away with the cash. However, if the traitors are able to remain undetected, they can steal the prize away.

Needless to say, paranoia abounds.

This all takes place in a castle in Scotland where the festivities are hosted by Alan Cumming, who’s serving capes and kilts while he chews up the scenery. He leads a cast made up in part by familiar faces including Arie Luyendyk Jr., Brandi Glanville, Cody Calafiore, Kate Chastain, Kyle Cooke, Reza Farahan, Ryan Lochte, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, and Rachel Reilly.

We can’t wait for Peacock audiences to experience and play along in this epic game of manipulation and deceit, all while the iconic Alan Cumming pulls the strings of our incredible cast to create the ultimate whodunit,” Corie Henson, executive vice president of entertainment unscripted content at NBCUniversal said in the press release.

The 10-episode reality series premieres January 12 on Peacock. In the meantime, watch the trailer below.
