'Eternals' Star Kumail Nanjiani Has the Internet Thirsting Really Hard

The actor's recently-posted thirst traps have everyone SHOOK.

In case you missed it, Kumail Nanjiani posted a very rare thirst trap to Instragam earlier today, and literally everyone on the internet was shaken by it.

Best known for projects like The Big Sick and Silicon Valley, Nanjiani is set to star alongside an ensemble cast (that includes Angelia Jolie, Salma Hayek, Bryan Tyree Henry, Kit Harington, and Richard Madden) in Marvel Studios' upcoming The Eternals, and in preparation for the role of Kingo, he decided to, in his words, "transform the way he looked."

Well, transform he did. So much so, that people on Twitter were really, really taken by surprise at how good he looked when he flexed his muscles and showed off his hairy chest for the 'gram.

While most thirst traps are actually kinda cringey and worthy of a good roll of the eyes, especially for the overwhelming majority of people in the world who don't look statues of Greek Gods, at least Kumail got real in his caption, mentioning the privilege that he has that was required in order to transform his body into its current state.

"I would not have been able to do this if I didn’t have a full year with the best trainers and nutritionists paid for by the biggest studio in the world," he said. "I’m glad I look like this, but I also understand why I never did before. It would have been impossible without these resources and time."

As is expected in any case of celebrity shirtlessness, people wasted no time in letting their thirst be known...

The Eternals is set to hit theaters on November 6, 2020.
