Lesbianland has wanted this to happen since The L Word wrapped in 2009. Yes, the rumors are true; Shane and Carmen (aka Sharmen) are totally getting back together on the small screen.

Twitter delighted queer women everywhere when Kate Moennig (Shane) shared these shots of her and co-star Sarah Shahi (Carmen). When the pics hit the twittersphere, you could almost hear the sound of gay girls everywhere squealing like teenagers.

Sadly, they won’t be reprising the roles of the couple we all came to know and love. Shahi will guest star in the third season of Ray Donovan as an Armenian pop star and Moennig has been cast as her assistant.

OK, while they may not be playing Sharmen, we’ll definitely tune in to watch these two reunite on screen.
