October 15th is the official fifth annual Spirit Day, and we can't wait to get out our purple ensembles to stand against bullying and show support for LGBT youth. Seriously, celebrating Spirit Day is as easy as incorporating a bit of purple into your wardrobe, which represents the color symbolizng 'spirit' on the flag (according to GLAAD). Last year, Spirit Day had some rockin' celebrity supporters, and it looks like even more are gearing up to show their #SpiritDay love this year, including Faking It's Katie Stevens, who talked to GLAAD about how much this day means to her, especially now that she's starring on a show that focuses on LGBT characters.

We're sure that soon even more supporters will start speaking out about the importance of what Spirit Day represents (for real, TV show casts really seem to love showing their support for Spirit Day), and we can't wait to start seeing more ways in which people show their love and support for the youth of the LGBT community.
