Here! Networks broke ground becoming the first LGBT network to land a Daytime Emmy nomination for its 2008 Ribbon of Hope Celebration, it was announced Thursday.

The Ribbon of Hope honors television programming that raises awareness of HIV/AIDS. The program was nominated in the Outstanding Special Class Special category.

While All My Children's lesbian storyline left viewers cold, its stars Eden Riegel, who plays Bianca, earned a nomination for her Web series Imaginary Bitches, and her onscreen paramour Tamara Braun, who played Reese, was nominated for her work on Days of our Lives!

The Daytime Emmys air on August 30 on the CW Network.
