Awards season is in full bloom with the Golden Globes happening this Sunday and W magazine has honored that most gloriously solipsistic time of year with a series of six covers of actors who gave outstanding performances for its annual movie issue. Those gracing the cover are American Hustle’s Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams, The Butler’s Oprah (who needs no last name), 12 Years A Slave’s Lupita Nyong'o, Blue Jasmine’s Cate Blanchett, and The Dallas Buyer’s Club’s Matthew McConaughey.

Here are Amy, Lupita, and Jennifer. Check out the rest of the covers here.
