Life can change over the course of a summer.

From first-time feature director Kate Lane comes Fear of Water, a story of love, sexual awakening, and friendship between two teen girls from drastically different socio-economic backgrounds. The young women, played by Lily Loveless (Skins) and newcomer Chloe Partridge, meet in the wake of a tragedy that bonds them together in ways they never thought possible.

A fresh and moving coming-of-age story, Fear of Water has played at six international film festivals, and is slated to play the London Film Festival. If you’re nowhere near London then never fear because you can pre-order a limited edition DVD of the film.
