It's been two years since a gunman took the lives of 49 people during a shooting at Orlando's gay nightclub Pulse.
Celebrities, allies, notables, and members of the LGBT community took to Twitter to commemorate the victims of the tragedy and remind people that there is still a lot that needs to be change before queer people are truly accepted by society.

“It’s the two year anniversary of #Pulse. Remember not only how much we lost and hurt that day, but also how quickly we were told as LGBTQ not to politicize the murder of queer people by people who politicize where we piss and VOTE accordingly”— Phillip (@Phillip) 1528814041
