I know I'm not the only Millenial lady-queer who felt like Jewel's 1995 debut album, Pieces of You, struck an aching, tender chord directly in my angsty teenage heart. I maintain that Pieces of You is still Jewel's strongest record.
And now, one of my favorite tracks from that album has gotten a sultry, modern remake with a guest appearance by none other than Kelly Clarkson. Jewel enlisted "Miss Independent" herself to turn "Foolish Games" into a haunting duet. Perez Hilton broke the news and posted audio of the track, which we've embedded here for your listening pleasure. See if you can avoid getting goosebumps when Clarkson's angelic voice chimes in on the second verse… because I can't stop swooning each time I hit replay. And the harmonies these two vocal powerhouses pull out is simply stunning — listen to the whole track for the full impact.
