Despite some of the negative connotations, having a friend with benefits can be a great thing! After all, what's better than having someone reliable and familiar to call on whenever you get that natural urge to have some skin-to-skin contact with another human being? Having a FWB arrangement with someone you trust can be amazing, especially during this past year where many of us had to bunker down and isolate ourselves from most of our social circles.
But now that a lot of the world is slowly but surely starting to open up and get back to normalcy, and people are starting to get back out there and date around again, is it possible that your FWB could be tired of you now, and might dump you at the first given chance? That's what comedian and YouTube extraordinaire Michael Henry explores in his latest hilarious queer comedy sketch, aptly entitled "My Friend With Benefits Dumped Me!"
"What happened? I thought you had a solid butt buddy all of lockdown?" Michael's friend Damian asks their other friend Pete after he reveals that he's been kicked to the curb by his loyal, reliable FWB.
"I did! And he got vaxxed!" a mourning Pete tearfully replies, explaining that with more possibilities for meetups now that people are getting vaccinated, his FWB doesn't seem to have time for him anymore. "And the state opened. And he moved on to greener pastures."
The pain is all too relatable!
