White Lotus' Theo James Describes ‘Very Carnal’ Sex Scene With Will

White Lotus is the gift that keeps on giving.

Months after the iconic Season 2 finale, the world is just as obsessed with it as ever. On Sunday at the SAG Awards, the cast took home the award for best TV drama ensemble, and Jennifer Coolidge snagged the award for best female actor in a drama series.

The stars and crew clearly celebrated with drinks and had some hilarious red carpet moments after the show celebrating the win.

But Theo James had a hilarious moment beforehand where he teased the idea of romance with Will Sharpe's character, Ethan. “They cut the sex scene,” said James, which led to big laugh from costar and TV wife Meghann Fahy, Variety reports. “It began in a kind of romantic way but then it gets very carnal, but Mike decided to cut it."

If only. He paused for a moment, before continuing, "No, I’m joking! There was no sex scene.”

Well, at least we got the moment of them wrestling in the ocean. And there were plenty other sex scenes for viewers to feast their eyes upon.

And that's not the only way White Lotus might've looked very different. It was recently revealed that Dahmer star Evan Peters was almost cast as Ethan. “That part was the last part we cast in the season,” executive producer David Bernad revealed. “Originally it was supposed to be Evan Peters, but for whatever reason — scheduling or timing — it didn’t work out.”
