This past week must have been a roller coaster for Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson. A judge in Arizona has rejected Griner's annulment request because the court found "no legal basis for annulment." They are therefore "moving forward with the divorce on a 28-day marriage," according to Griner. Johnson reports that she is "thankful the annulment was rejected because an act of marriage did occur. Together we made life changing decisions which impacted our lives collectively, and we both should be held responsible for those decisions."
A few days later, Johnson announced on Instagram that she is expecting twin girls. The pair have not yet said what involvement Griner will have in the children's lives once the divorce is finalized. Griner and Johnson's initial pregnancy announcement came one day before Griner filed for the annulment. The two were also both arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute a fortnight before their nuptuals.
