WATCH: Pretty Little Liars Gets a Pretty Big Update on Its Opening Credit Sequence

Season 6B of Pretty Little Liars won't only return this winter packed with several new mysteries to solve, but there will also be a brand new opening credit sequence. Luckily, the team behind the smash hit show didn't keep the update under as many wraps as they usually keep their plotlines. The sentiment of the new sequence is still very much the same - funerals and makeup and The Pierces crooning mysteriously etc. - but there are some major changes, including a radical age-update on the leading ladies, the appearance of Alison front and center, and Shay claiming what was formerly Lucy Hale's signature off-center 'shush'-ing action. Another big change coming up is the fact that when Pretty Little Liars returns in January, it'll be returning to the new and improved Freeform rather than good, ol' fashioned ABC Family. But as the saying goes; out with the old, and in with Alison DiLaurentis. Watch now!
