Linda Moody's soaring vocals play out against her own distinct style of sheet metal, bike frame percussion and rhythm guitar riffs. Tammy Fortin's lead guitar stabs and Wendy Brents' heavy bass melodies combine to create a compelling texture that commands the room with the first note.

Excuses for Skipping just released their second album, Tonic For Hysteria, produced by Gregg Marks. The album was ranked #1 in nominations for Deli Magazine's "Year End Best Of SF" poll for emerging artists.

Excuses for Skipping’s high energy, live performances have generated a loyal following both locally and beyond, as they are known for a show that is both unpredictable and inspired. Their solid following was exemplified by their recent sold out performance at the Tonic For Hysteria local release show at San Francisco's Cafe Du Nord.
