Fan’s of All My Children’s resident lesbian, Bianca Montgomery, finally have some good news headed their way. Despite the earlier announcement that the long-running daytime show would be cancelled, it appears that rumors of the soap’s death have been (slightly) exaggerated.

All My Children, the first daytime show to feature a lesbian wedding, will continue exclusively as a web series, according to CBS News.  Online distribution company Prospect Park has scooped up the show’s rights and plans to run future episodes online.

At this time, it is unknown if the series will continue airing episodes of the same length and at the same frequency that fans are used to seeing. It’s also unclear how many of the cast members will be continuing with the show in its new format, but producers would be crazy not to include Bianca. Since her introduction in 2000, she’s been a character that has amassed a legion of very vocal fans and—for better or worse—gained the soap tons of media attention as well.  Then again, would we expect anything less from the daughter of the incomparable Erica Kane?
