Lesbian Web Series '3Way' Calls It Quits

After only one season, the delightfully hysterical lesbian web series 3Way took its final bow in March, leaving a gaping void in the world of non-porn online lesbian entertainment. The always amusing series debuted on Feb. 4th of last year and quickly built a loyal fan following on the net. Sadly, however, apparently not enough of one to keep the show going past the first season. Due to a lack of funding, the show’s creators finally had to call it quits and move on to other projects. Now the cast is offering up one last final goodbye before 3Way vanishes into the annals of lesbian entertainment history.

Staring Maeve Quinlan, Cathy Shim, Jill Bennett and Maile Flanagan, 3Way was a riotous bout of fun in every too short episode. The premise for the show was inspired by real life events in straight girl Maeve Quinlan’s own life, blown up to epically comedic proportions.

After a nasty divorce, soap star Siobhan McGarry (Quinlan) moves in her lesbian best friend – and pole-dancing fitness guru - Roxie (Cathy Shim) to help with the bills. In a classic u-haul moment, Roxie then adds her sexy new girlfriend Andrea (Jill Bennet) into the mix by dragging her into the house as well. Then Siobhan finds there’s Roxie’s totally out there ex, Geri (Maile Flanagan), to contend with as well.

Before the cast of 3Way goes quietly into the night, however, they’ve released one more video to say farewell to their fans.

3Way’s creators hope to release a DVD download of the show’s episodes, plus plenty of bonus footage, in the days to come. Stay tuned!
