There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our fave shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because...
If you didn’t notice 20-year-old Kentucky native Jennifer Lawernce in her Oscar nominated performance in Winter’s Bone, you probably remember her as the stone cold fox in a simply stunning red Calvin Klein dress at the Academy Awards this year.
Soon, you’ll know her as a young Mystique in the new prequel X-Men: First Class, in theaters this summer. Lawrence, who also costars in Jodie Foster’s Mel Gibson movie, Beaver, showed off her alluring X factor in a set of photographs for GQ.
Her X-Men director, Matthew Vaughn decodes Lawernce’s draw, explaining, "There are a lot of young American actors right now who haven't got any technique," says Vaughn. "And to be blunt, a lot of these kids assume that just by having a good set of teeth and tits, smiling for the camera's gonna be enough. I needed someone who could act." …Like Lawernce.
And we all know the talented Miss Lawrence just locked down the most coveted young-actress leading role in Hollywood when she was cast as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games.
Lawrence will play a tough heroine in the film based upon a “dystopic best seller about a teen huntress forced to compete in an annual contest where kids battle to the death. Lawrence is quickly cornering the market on steely chicks with molten cores, and Vaughn says it's because "she's got a set of balls on her."”
