In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, pop culture sensation Paris Hilton has opened up about her sex life – or lack thereof.

Hilton rose to fame in the early 2000s as an heiress to the Hilton Hotel company and star of the hit reality series, The Simple Life. Though she's been in the public eye for over twenty years and romantically linked to her fair share of bachelors, Hilton has revealed that she genuinely thought of herself as asexual because of her disinterest in sex.

“I was known as a sex symbol, but anything sexual terrified me,” she recalled. “I called myself the ‘kissing bandit’ because I only liked to make out. A lot of my relationships didn’t work out because of that.”

She blames her lack of interest and "prude" mentality on her 2004 sex tape being released against her will and being targeted and groomed by a male teacher in middle school. But her husband Carter Reum, who she married in November 2021, changed all of that.

“It wasn’t until Carter that I finally am not that way,” she laughed. “I enjoy hooking up with my husband.”

The two met at a Thanksgiving gathering on Long Island in 2019. Hilton found herself attracted to Reum because “He’s not famous. He’s smart. He comes from a nice family. He’s a good person. It was the opposite of what I had been used to when I was looking for guys.”

And they were a match! “I just feel like after all the hell I’ve been through, I’m finally getting what I deserve, which is someone I can trust and someone to build a real life with,” Hilton says.

Just last month, the 41-year-old welcomed her first child into the world and now, she says she's focused on her family. “It’s a good feeling to be real,” she said. “To not feel like some cartoon character all the time. It’s a really good feeling.”
