The end of an era is about to begin, because the third and final season of Young Royals officially has a premiere date!

Created by Lisa Ambjörn, Lars Beckung, and Camilla Holter, Young Royals is a Netflix original series from Sweden that tells the complicated love story between Prince Wilhelm (played by Edvin Ryding) and Simon Eriksson (played by Omar Rudberg).

After so much bittersweet anticipation, the streaming service has now announced the premiere dates for the third and final season of Young Royals. Unlike most Netflix shows, you won’t be able to binge through the entire season when it first premieres.

Specifically, the first five episodes of Young Royals season 3 will drop on Monday, Mar. 11. The series finale will then be released a week later, on Monday, Mar. 18.

Netflix

As seen in a recently-released teaser of Young Royals, this final season will follow Wilhelm and Simon dealing with the aftermath of coming out as a couple. It seems like different characters are having different reactions to the news, which builds up quite a bit of tension for the couple.

Besides Ryding and Rudberg reprising their roles as the two main characters and lovebirds, other cast members returning to season 3 of Young Royals include Malte Gårdinger (August), Nikita Uggla (Felice), Frida Argento (Sara), and Pernilla August (Queen Kristina).

We’re ready to be teleported to Hillerska for this final ride!

Young Royals season 3 premieres March 11 on Netflix.
