Meet the dolls who are heating up Miami’s drag scene!

rachiepants

The Miami drag scene is on fiyah! And the queens of Miami Dolls are bringing the drama, the heart, the hilarity, and most of all the heat.

This new comedy docuseries focuses on a group of women who work at the legendary Palace Bar in South Beach — and it couldn’t have come at a better and more poignant time than now. Focusing on the lives, loves, and careers of these incredibly talented drag queens, the goal of the show was “to celebrate trans joy instead of trauma,” says executive producer Topher Cusumano.

The series comes from the makers of the recent hit series For the Love of DILFs and returning faves X-Rated: NYC andHot Haus, and was developed not only to entertain but to also tell stories that rarely get the kind of light and signal boost that they so richly deserve.

“We believe showcasing how marginalized groups in Florida and other conservative-run states are still finding ways to thrive is powerful activism in its own right. It’s one of the reasons we’re calling the show ‘comedy-docuseries’ (also because it’s HILARIOUS!),” adds Cusumano.

It also helps that the cast is so dynamic and multifaceted. They can have you laughing and crying in the same episode — and coming back for more.

FANTASIA ROYALE GAGA

Also known as “Fanny,” Fantasia is a native of Jacksonville but has been a 10-year resident of South Florida. She’s a well-known entertainer and spokesperson for the LGBTQ community. Through her charity work, pageants, and social media presence, Fantasia can capture a wide spectrum of people.

Fanny is a full-time cast member at the iconic Palace bar where she’s internationally known as “The Body.”

She’s performed all over the world including in Europe, the Bahamas, Canada, and for Royal Caribbean cruises — and she’s just getting started.

Most recently, Fantasia became the season one winner of the queer reality show Hot Haus.

NICKY MONET

Nicky Monet is a showgirl, TV personality, and transgender activist. This New York native is known for her boisterous opinions and bodacious looks.

Splitting her time between L.A. and Miami, Nicky has appeared as a guest, host, and judge on popular reality shows like Keeping up with the Kardashians, Hot Haus with Tiffany “New York” Pollard, and Iconic Justice with Willam.

In 2021, Nicky went viral for her heartwarming interaction with Lady Gaga during one of her concerts, when she opened up to the singer about the life-saving impact of her music.

TIFFANY FANTASIA

Tiffany Fantasia aka Henry Williams was born and raised in South Florida, and studied Jazz Voice at Miami-Dade College.

An actor, drag performer, and singer-songwriter, Tiffany is mostly known for being a popular fixture in the South Florida drag scene for more than 20 years. She’s the MC of the Miami Beach Pride Parade and a board member of Miami Beach Pride.

Her style takes inspiration from the divas of the 1970s with over-the-top costumes and high-energy, comedic performances.

Tiffany has been featured on Watch What Happens Live and The View.

RASHEEDA PHOX

Rasheeda Phox (the one and only!) was born and raised in Miami, Florida.

A natural-born queen, she’s swept the pageant, ballroom, and drag scene from an early age. She describes herself as “classy, bougie, and ratchet.” A fierce transsexual activist, Rasheeda is a certified HIV tester and counselor.

EDNA MWAH

Home-schooled and homegrown in the heart of Ohio, Edna Mwah is a powerhouse performer with flipping fearless fierceness! (Say that three times fast!). She has six years of drag experience under her (tiny) belt, having started performing the art of drag at the wee age of 18.

Miss Mwah is known for her commanding stage presence, epic performances, and perfected (we stan a humble queen) aesthetics.

Miami Dolls premieres today on OUTtv. Watch the trailer below.
