June may be famous for its brides, but it's also known for pride around the world. Here's the first in a series of worldwide pride photos we'll run throughout the month. Happy Pride from Baltimore and Iowa City! 

Voters in Maryland followed lawmakers and approved marriage equality in 2012, and that gave revelers a lot of reason to celebrate in Baltimore this year.

 

Iowa City is the state's fifth largest city and Pride comes with a small-town feel. Check out photos from this weekend's event.
