With the Halloween Carnival fast approaching on Monday, October 31, the West Hollywood Sheriff station is gearing up to make sure the night is spooky but the fun event runs smoothly. Meet the hot lesbian Sheriff’s Captain in charge of keeping us safe.

Captain Kelley Fraser took command of the West Hollywood Sheriff station in 2010. She earned the job having climbed up the ranks of law enforcement with a strong work ethic and 25 years of experience.

“I have a job to do and I just happen to be a lesbian,” Captain Kelley says, adding the position is “the best job in the world!”

Sheriff’s Department sources say Captain Kelley is a well-respected boss who allows her team the freedom to do their job the best way possible. During our interview, Captain Kelley praised her co-workers at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station with successfully keeping the city safe.

“This can’t happen without these folks. They’re amazing and everyday I’m just so thankful for what they do,” she says. “We’re here for you, to serve people. That’s what we’re supposed to do.”

West Hollywood, California is home to the famous Sunset Strip, Santa Monica Blvd and Melrose Avenue. Known for it’s large gay population (even the Sheriff patrol cars sport the rainbow colors) and hot spot for rockers and yuppies, the rainbow town hosts some of the largest celebrations on the planet.

Santa Monica Blvd will be closed to traffic from La Cienega to Doheny on Halloween night for the famous Halloween Carnival. The officially designated “Great Street” will be lined with stages for entertainment and parading up and down in outrageous costumes.

Captain Kelley is also responsible for the safety of the annual LGBT Pride celebration in June that usually draws over 500,000 people to West Hollywood. The 3-day event includes the Dyke March, Music Festival, Drag Run and Pride Parade.

Captain Kelley is also responsible for Universal City, which is famous for the CityWalk, Theme Park, Studios and Ampitheatre.

What’s in Captain Kelley’s future?

“My future is to learn something new everyday.” She concludes that she loves the diverse contrast of the city and hopes to stay in West Hollywood for the rest of her career.

We hope so too!
