This could be the best Christmas song ever!

The New York-based folk duo Hannah & Maggie have written a lesbian love letter to Mrs. Claus, and after all these years of Santa running around the world and leaving his wife at home on Christmas Eve, it’s long overdue! The beautiful, yet cheeky, love song is called “Mrs. Claus (A Gay Love Song).”

Out folkies Hannah Hickok and Maggie Kraus met in 2009 as part of Smith College’s (WOOT Seven Sisters!) a capella group, according to AfterEllen. The duo will release their third full-length album in February.

Listen to what may be the best non-Christmas Christmas song ever!
