Logan Paul Unpacks 'Going Gay' Comments, Says He's 'Kissed Many Men'

"Sexuality is so fluid nowadays, I don’t think twice about talking about being gay. I don’t give a sh*t."

Logan Paul's "poor choice of words" is still haunting him (and us).

The notorious ex-Viner turned YouTuber made headlines earlier this month on his podcast when he jokingly(?) declared one of his New Years resolutions was to go "gay just for one month."

"March—take a guess. What is it?" said Paul. "'Male-Only March.' So it’s 'Male-Only March,' we’re gonna attempt to go gay for just one month."

LGBTQ advocates believed the implication that homosexuality is a choice to be harmful and Paul was collectively called out by the internet. "That's not how it works," GLAAD tweeted at Paul, who then took responsibility for his poor choice of words.

Most recently, Paul invited Josh Seefried, an Air Force veteran and former OutServe-SLDN co-chairman, on his show to talk about his comments

"So if I want to hook up with dudes for a month in March, I can’t do that?" Paul asked him.

"Are you making that as a joke, or are you being legitimate?" Seefried replied. "If you want to experiment with men, that’s a different thing than saying, ’Hey, I’m gonna go gay for a month,’ making a joke."

Paul clarified that he doesn’t believe homosexuality is a choice, blamed the media for pushing the narrative, then asked Seefried how he would describe experimentation.

"It’s experimentation," said Seefried. "You’re essentially maybe bicurious, and you want to explore your sexuality, and we need to support that,” but perhaps not for attention on the internet.

But Paul said that wasn't the issue. "It’s not even scary to me. Because sexuality is so fluid nowadays, I don’t think twice about talking about being gay. I don’t give a shit. Being gay is cool to me, I think that it’s a very cool thing. It is incredibly courageous and noble if you are a gay person to come out and put your foot down and defy society and say, 'No, this is who I am.'"

He then added, “This hurts me because I am such a pro-gay dude."

"Does a poor choice of words, the way I misspoke, because of my ignorance on the subject...Does that warrant 140,000 people telling me to go kill myself?" Paul asked, directly referencing a now-viral tweet from Gus Kenworthy telling him to "go away forever."

At another point, Paul pulls up a video of former Fear Factor host and "comedian" Joe Rogan joking about women hating Trump so much that they go "lesbo."

“Not a single tweet about that,” Paul pointed out.

Seefried fired back, "Shame on you for trying to deflect from your own actions."

But Paul says he willingly apologized before mentioning that he's "kissed many men," and that he even considered sharing photos of him kissing guys "prove my gayness." Luckily, he realized how "weird" that would be and stopped himself.

"This is important for me, because I am a huge proponent of the LGBTQ community. Huge! And I always have been. I love it. I love the movement," Paul said.

Seefried concluded, "I think that you’ve realized you had a mistake, and now it’s just up to you to continue that action," while also asking his co-hosts to hold Paul, and each other accountable for homophobic remarks.

"Well, now I know," said Paul. "It’s very easy, because at the end of the day, bro, it’s just ignorance. It’s not, again, there’s no malicious intent."

For someone who showed footage of and mocked Japanese suicide victims in a vlog, it looks like the only way for the YouTuber to go is up!
