A sketch of the suspect in the double shooting of a teen lesbian couple in Portland, Texas last month has been released, according to MSNBC.

Last week a witness came forward with information in the shooting of Mollie Olgin, 19, and Mary Kristene Chapa, 18, who were shot in the head at a park in Portland.  Olgin was pronounced dead on the scene, while Chapa remains in serious condition but has regained consciousness.

Now, police have released the following sketch to the public.

ABC News reports that a witness told police the suspected shooter is "a white male in his 20s with dark hair," estimated to be 5-foot-8 and weighing approximately 140 pounds.

Olgin and Chapa had been a couple since mid-February and were spending some time in the park before seeing a movie, according to reports.  They were found in knee-high grass at Violet Andrews Park with no obvious signs that the shooting was a hate crime. “There continues to be no evidence that the attack was motivated by the victims’ sexual orientation,” Portland Police Chief Randy Wright told ABC.

vigil was held in New York City and two more will take place this week in San Diego, California and El Paso, Texas in memory of Olgin and in honor of Chapa. Chapa’s family has also set up a fundraising page for donations to help cover her medical expenses, while some attendees posted pictures from the New York City vigil on Facebook.

“What happens when tragedies occur, whether it be in the middle of Chicago, in the middle of New York, or in rural Texas, that affects us here today,” one vigil attendee told GLAAD. “The way we combat these tragedies is to stand up and shout, ‘this is unacceptable.’”
