Well, it's over.

Shadowhuntersand our favorite couple Malec—are in their final days. Freeform's two and a half-hour series finale premieres May 6th, and my body is not at all ready.

Last year when Freeform announced the show's cancellation, fans rallied behind the show with the #SaveShadowhunters campaign and fundraised a whopping $23,813 for the Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.

Commemorating the show's outstanding queer representation, Freeform is matching that fan fundraiser with their own $25,000 contribution to the Trevor Project.

"Passionate fans rallied together to raise money for The Trevor Project in honor of the show’s message of inclusion, compassion and acceptance," Freeform said in a press release. "In celebration of Shadowhunters and the series fan base, Freeform also announced that they and their parent company, Disney, have matched the fan donations by giving The Trevor Project $25,000."

It's safe to say the legacy of Shadowhunters has gone well beyond just a fandom, it's doing actual good in the world.

The series finale of Shadowhunters premieres Monday, May 6 at 8pm ET/PT on Freeform.
