Pedro Pascal isn’t holding back
The Strange Way of Life actor went scorched earth on Nicki Minaj after the rapper praised President Donald Trump and showed off her new Trump Gold Card. And, he tagged her.
Nicki Minaj hasn’t been shy about her MAGA affiliations, in fact, earlier this week she went viral when she posted a photo of her Trump Gold Card — which allows wealthy foreign nationals to pay obscene amounts of money to secure a green card — and made a second post that was retweeted by the White House’s official account, where Minaj called Trump a “wonderful, gracious, charming President” for helping the Trinidadian celeb gain U.S. permanent residency.
Minaj also joined Trump on stage as he delivered remarks at the Treasury Department's Trump Accounts Summit on January 28, where she called herself “probably the president’s No. 1 fan” and thanked Trump for giving her the card for free, even though it typically costs $1 million.
After Minaj flaunted her devotion to the president, Pascal took to X to call Minaj “a fucking loser,” adding that “so is anyone still listening to her music.”
Like Minaj, Pascal is also an immigrant, but he has not been shy about his criticism of Trump. After U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers shot and killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti, The Last of Us star wrote on Instagram, “Truth is a line of demarcation between a democratic government and authoritarian regime. Mr Pretti and Renee Good are dead. The American people deserve to know what happened.”
Minaj clearly expected criticism for her support of Trump and attempted to get in front of it while speaking at the summit. “And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all,” she said, per The Hill. “It actually motivates me to support him more, and it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more.”
